Advanced Under-Sink Water Purification

Pure, Great-Tasting Water Straight From Your Kitchen Tap

The Awesome Water 5-Stage Deluxe Reverse Osmosis System is a high-performance under-sink filtration solution designed to provide purified water for drinking, cooking and everyday kitchen use. With five dedicated filtration stages, a storage tank and a separate designer faucet, it delivers convenient access to quality drinking water without relying on bottled water.

Advanced Reverse Osmosis Filtration for the Home or Office

Installed discreetly beneath the sink, the RO System treats water through multiple filtration stages before storing the purified water in a dedicated pressure tank. Water is then dispensed through the included separate faucet whenever it is needed.

The system is capable of producing up to 100 gallons per day, or approximately 378 litres per day, under suitable operating conditions. This makes it suitable for households, offices and workplaces wanting a reliable source of filtered water for drinking and food preparation.

Your existing kitchen tap remains available for general washing and cleaning, while purified water is supplied through the dedicated drinking water faucet.

  • Helps reduce reliance on single-use bottled water

How the 5-Stage Filtration Process Works

Each stage performs a different role within the overall purification process.

Stage 1: Sediment Pre-Filtration

The first stage helps capture sediment, rust, dirt and other suspended particles. This protects the later filters and reverse osmosis membrane from premature blockage.

Stage 2: Bio-Activated Carbon Filtration

Bio-activated carbon helps reduce chlorine, unpleasant tastes, odours and selected organic contaminants before the water reaches the membrane.

Stage 3: Foam Carbon Filtration

The additional carbon stage provides further reduction of chlorine, taste, odour and chlorine-related by-products, including selected trihalomethanes.

Stage 4: Reverse Osmosis Membrane

The high-efficiency reverse osmosis membrane provides the main purification stage. It is designed to reduce a broad range of dissolved impurities and contaminants, including fluoride, heavy metals and other dissolved substances.

Stage 5: Post-GAC Polishing Filter

The final granular activated carbon stage polishes the water after storage, helping provide a fresh, clean taste immediately before it reaches the drinking water faucet.

What Can Reverse Osmosis Help Reduce?

The system is designed to help reduce a broad range of contaminants and water quality concerns, including:

  • Fluoride
  • Chlorine
  • Sediment and rust
  • Selected heavy metals
  • Selected volatile organic compounds
  • Pesticides
  • Unwanted tastes and odours
  • Selected chlorine disinfection by-products
  • Other dissolved impurities addressed by reverse osmosis filtration

Actual contaminant reduction depends on incoming water quality, water pressure, temperature, membrane condition, system maintenance and the specific contaminants present.

Filter Replacement and Maintenance

Regular filter replacement helps maintain water quality, protect the reverse osmosis membrane and support consistent system performance.

  • Pre-filter cartridges: Replace approximately every six months.
  • Post-carbon filter: Replace according to usage and the recommended maintenance schedule.
  • Reverse osmosis membrane: Membrane life depends on incoming water quality, usage and system maintenance.
  • System sanitisation: Periodic sanitisation is recommended when filters are replaced.

Replacement timing may vary in areas with high sediment, chlorine, dissolved solids or unusually high household water use.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is reverse osmosis?

Reverse osmosis is a water purification process that forces water through a fine membrane. The membrane helps separate water from many dissolved impurities and contaminants before the purified water is stored for use.

Does this reverse osmosis system reduce fluoride?

Yes. The reverse osmosis membrane is designed to help reduce fluoride along with a broad range of other dissolved contaminants.

How much water can the system produce?

The system is rated to produce up to approximately 100 gallons or 378 litres per day under suitable operating conditions. Actual production depends on water pressure, temperature, incoming water quality and membrane condition.

Does the system use a separate drinking water faucet?

Yes. Purified water is dispensed through the included dedicated faucet. Your main kitchen tap remains available for general washing and cleaning.

Why does the system include a storage tank?

Reverse osmosis purification occurs gradually. The storage tank holds purified water under pressure so it is available from the faucet when needed.

How often should the filters be replaced?

The pre-filter cartridges should generally be replaced approximately every six months. Other filters and the reverse osmosis membrane have different service lives depending on usage and incoming water quality.

Can I install the system myself?

The system is supplied pre-assembled with colour-coded tubing and quick-connect fittings. However, installation involves plumbing, drainage and fitting a separate faucet, so professional installation is recommended where appropriate.

Does reverse osmosis produce wastewater?

Yes. Reverse osmosis systems discharge a portion of incoming water to the drain while the membrane separates dissolved impurities. The amount varies with water pressure, temperature, membrane condition and system design.

Will the system fit beneath every kitchen sink?

Available cupboard space varies. Measure the under-sink area and allow room for both the filtration unit and the storage tank before ordering.
