Build Quality & Design

Taps

The taps are made from high-impact polypropylene and are designed for fast flow and easy operation.

Cabinet

The top and front panels are moulded from UV-treated ABS, while the side panels are zinc-coated steel sheets covered in electrostatically applied high polymer polyester resin.

Cooling Reservoir

The cooling reservoir is constructed from polypropylene plastic and holds approximately 12 litres. It features large radius corners to help make cleaning easier. The integrated zoned waterway and baffle system helps prevent ice rings from restricting chilled water flow. Cold water capacity below the baffle is approximately 4.2 litres, while water above the baffle remains at or around room temperature.

Drip Tray

The concealed lift-out drip tray is made from high-impact durable plastic. It is removable for sanitation and includes an anti-splash grid that diverts drain water into the tray.

About the ELF Filter System

The ELF filter, produced by Omnipure in the USA, is designed for long-term water filtration quality and ease of replacement. These filters are available across a range of options, including standard 10 micron and 1 micron carbon blocks, lead-specific carbon blocks, and poly-phosphate carbon blocks for equipment protection.

Poly-phosphate carbon blocks are especially useful for helping protect equipment affected by hard water contaminants, including systems with heating elements such as dishwashers, steam ovens, ice machines and coffee machines.

The filter bodies are constructed using virgin, high-impact polypropylene, making them well suited to applications where sanitary conditions are important. Materials used in the construction of the filters are NSF and/or FDA approved.

Warranty

The Big Belly Series water coolers are covered by a 3 Year Comprehensive Warranty, providing parts and labour coverage for 3 years from the original date of sale. An additional 1 year extended warranty can also be purchased at the time of sale.
